Innovative Techniques and Technologies in Liver Surgery |
Dear colleagues and friends,
On behalf of the organizing committee, it is my great pleasure to invite you to attend our 11th conference on Liver Surgery which is to be held in Ahmedabad on December 15th, 2019. The theme of this edition is "Innovative Techniques and Technologies in Liver Surgery". This meeting is being organized by Gujarat Liver and Digestive Surgery Clinic (GLDC), Gujarat Liver Cancer Clinic (GLCC) in association with Sterling Hospitals.
We started Liver Update series in 2009 to discuss different issues related to Liver Surgery. Over the last 10 years the Liver Update series is the most recognized and eagerly awaited annual event related to Liver Surgery in this part of the country.
The theme of this 11th edition of Liver Update is "Innovative Techniques and Technologies in Liver Surgery" addressing the new prospects in liver surgery. Minimally invasive approach in the field of HPB surgery is gaining popularity due to the availability of new laparoscopic instruments for liver transection. Laparoscopic liver resection has evolved significantly over the past decade moving from an experimental procedure to a standard part of the hepatic surgeon’s armamentarium. Most recently, robotic-assisted technology offers solutions to overcome the limitations of conventional laparoscopic resection. Although the intelligent diagnosis and treatment technology of digital medicine integrates multidisciplinary technology to serve the diagnosis and treatment of clinical diseases, there are still insufficient areas that need to be perfected in continuous practice. The aim of this event is to update and promote interchange of the current knowledge and recent progress focusing on innovative strategies and recent advances in liver surgery.
On behalf of the organizing committee I extend our warmest invitation to attend Liver Update 2019. Please register as soon as possible. Registration is complimentary but compulsory. We expect it to be a memorable event and invite you to actively participate in the scientific meeting.
We look forward to welcoming you to Liver Update 2019 in Ahmedabad.
Sincerely,
Dr Hitesh Chavda
Organizing Secretary
